As a very busy mama, wife and business owner - I rely on two things: strong coffee and dry shampoo.
However, I quickly realised I was spending a lot of money on dry shampoo, without being fully aware of what I was putting on my hair.
After doing a little research, I decided to make my own.
I've now been using this dry shampoo for over 2 months. It's better for me, my wallet and the environment.
This very simple, 2 ingredient dry shampoo recipe can be created using staples from the supermarket (all was purchased at New World for $7.78 and I haven't even used a fraction of it).
Dry Shampoo Recipe (for light brown/blonde hair):
1 cup tapioca flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder (use more for darker hair) ^Pop in a jar you already have, or try putting in a salt/pepper shaker. *I also like this because it also saves on tossing away those spray bottles that come with traditional dry shampoo.
Please do your own research and test a portion of your hair to see if this is right for you.
